1975 Vega Cosworth. #119. Low miles; under 32,000. Example of a limited edition Chevrolet. 2,061 built in 1975. Built in Lordstown Ohio with California build sheet and one recent repaint since new. The Cosworth Motor in the Vegas were 122 cubic inches or 2.0 liters DOHC Twin Cam. All 1975 Vega Cosworths were black lacquer with gold stripes and Cosworth Twin Cam on both sides. Motor Trend magazine's test of a 1975 version said it "goes like the proverbial bat out of Carlsburg Caverns. At moderate speeds, the car is as close to neutral handling as any American car I have ever driven." The engine bay and stainless steel headers are in immaculate shape and show very well. The interior is also in excellent shape and the gold plate with #119 looks excellent. There are no cracks in the dash, the carpet headliner and vinyl perforated seats are in great shape. Only one small spot on drivers seat shows a little wear. The car runs and drives excellent as a low mile example should.
