This car has been an ongoing restoration project since 1991. This car has always been garaged and only has 50 miles on it since restoration. This was not a frame-off restoration, however, the entire frame and firewall was sand blasted and/or stripped to bare metal. As seen in the photos, the car was also sanded down to bare metal and then primer sanded before the new paint. The paint is new and there are no chips, scratches, or dings. It never had any rust whatsoever. The care has clean registration in California and the Body VIN matches the Engine.
Sapphire Blue exterior with Black leather interior. Rebuilt 396 motor V-8 (50 miles on it) and Rebuilt Muncie 4-speed manual transmission.
Brand new one piece fiber glass tilt hood, Front head light grill and light assembly, Rear tail lights (the complete fixture), Chrome glass molding, Fiber glass trunk lid
New front window, tires, chrome floor jams, carpet, seats, headliner, carburetor, valve covers, intake, headers, alternator, fuel pump, trunk mounted battery kit with all new cables, driveline u-joints, disc brakes, starter, exhaust and mufflers. Also, all new electrical wiring from the fire wall forward
This is just the bulk of big things that were done, there are too many items to list. This car is completely done with everything working 100%. I have spent over 35K in the past several years and the reserve on this car is set quite low. Very well maintained and garage kept.

In 1981, Chrysler re-introduced a new version of the Imperial which had been vacant from the industry for many years in order to have an automobile to compete with the Cadillac and Lincoln in the American Marketplace. The Imperial came completely loaded and no options were available except the choice of leather or plush clothe interiors. This car has the blue plush clothe version. Headlights were fold in and the distinctive grill were designed to show the elegance of the model.
This car has an added continential kit and is in excellent condition. It has been pampered and always garaged. This is a show stopper as few of these cars are seen in the marketplace and could be a rare find for a true collector of classic Imperials. This is one of 10 cars in the now deceased Bob Peterson Collection of classic automobiles and one of his favorite.

Red Crown South Hampton Hardtop Coupe. Mileage shows 82,128. Overhead value, Vee block 8 cylinder 413 cubic inch displacement. 350 Horsepower @ 4600 RPM.
Original sticker cost was $5,403. The Imperial was adverstised as “America’s most distinctive car.” It has aircraft-inspired “forward Look” styling with tailfins and lots of chrome. A new jazzed up 1959 grille had a toothy look. A bright metal sweep panel added distinction to Crown Imperials. In addition to a long list of standard Imperial extras, the Crown models featured special emblems, a power seat and windows, outside mirror, vanity mirror and chrome license plate frames. Roof options included the canopy style Landau top. The Silvercrest treatment with a stainless steel front section and the best of both worlds Silvercrest Landau. Leather seat trim and push button Torquelflite automatic transmission were standard on all 1,728 Crown Imperials made in 1959. This car was featured in the National NAPA classic car calendar in December of 1990. (photo of Calendar shot is enclosed in this ad) This striking car is the proud winner of at least 2 “best of show” awards in regional gatherings of classic automobiles.

Orange Kaiser Manhattan two door Club Sedan with orange cloth/vinyl interior. Mileage shows 1711. Actual mileage is unknown. 6 cylinder engine with 118 horsepower. Automatic transmission.
Original price on this car in 1953 was $2,597. Since its inception in 1951, the “Dutch” Darrin designed Kaiser was considered one of the handsomest sedans on the market. The 1953 models got a modest, but refreshing styling facelift including miniature chrome tailfins and concealed rear deck lid hinges. Chrome “eyebrows” were added to the headlights and a new bird in flight ornament decorated the hood. Manhattans had real fender skirts, wide lower body side trim and dartshaped window sill moldings. This has been restored, drives well, and is a show stopper that has always been garaged. This car was featured in the National classic NAPA car calendar in December of 1995. This is one of ten cars for sale in the now Deceased Bob Peterson Collection. The car is housed in Idaho Falls Idaho.
