Original Price was $1494 when new. The Henry J was brought to the market as one of the first “compact” cars postwar and named after shipbuilder Henry J Kaiser, a partner with Joseph Frazer, the car was also sold in the Sears Catalog as “the Allstate.” Both 4 and 6 cylinder cars were available. The first year of production found 81,942 owners, in order to create a fastback look and cut production costs, the trunk lid did not open. This car was featured in the 1993 December national NAPA car calendar.
Numbers matching vehicle. Well maintained and garage kept, part of a 10 car collection of the now deceased Bob Peterson and all cars are located in Idaho Falls Idaho. Considered 9 of 10 condition.
