All original 1963 Chevrolet Biscayne, True Survivor all original paint, chrome, glass, interior, column tack, radio delete, rubber mats no carpets. 66000 original miles. This is not a numbers matching car. Story passed on to me, this is a dealer installed 409 car that was drag raced for several years at Ohio Drag Strips. Only street driven for a while then put up in a garage for 40 years, not a barn that really saved this car. No rot anywhere, only slight surface rust on lower right rear quarter. True Patina and does have a few small dents and scratches to be expected with a 53 year old car. The underneath of this car is as nice as the top as seen in some of the pictures. Has a Borg Warner T-10 4 speed with an early Hurst Comp Plus Straight Line Shifter with reverse lock out. The car has had the following work done to it: All new brakes, wheel cylinders, brake lines, master cylinder. New gas tank and gas line. Suspension, new springs and shocks. Headers were rotted out
so hunted down and found a set of stock exhaust manifolds that he paid $800 for. Then installed an entire new 2 1/2"exhaust system. Installed a new 4 core radiator with all new hoses. He put 4 new tires with period correct American Mag Wheels. Completely rebuilt the 409, crank ground, rings all new bearings and balanced
blue printed, Block decked and heads planed. All new valves, seats and guides. New Comp Cam .540 lift with complete valve train. New Edelbrock Intake and New Edelbrock 500cfm carburetors. New HEI distributor with new wires. I had the front
seat re - upholstered with NOS seat cover. I have driven the car over 1500 miles this past summer. It is a huge attraction at all the Cruise Nights and Car Shows. It is a very strong running 409 and drives and handles like a new car. Remember It's only Original Once. SHE'S REAL FINE THIS 409 Asking $32,500. Many more photos are available upon request.
