Exterior: Red/Black
Interior: Black/Gray Cloth
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Engine: 1600 cc
Mileage: 64,000
2 Door convertible VW Bug that has been chopped. 9 out of 10 condition. Well maintained and garage kept. The chassis is 2" lower with a new front end including disc brakes. The windshield and top have been lowered 2" with a custom top and trimming of all glass. Originally, a coupe the car was professionally chopped with all the necessary reinforcements in the original 1967 chassis to make this a smooth running stable safe custom vehicle. It has a balanced 1600 cc engine that was rebuilt about 20,000 miles ago. It has a newly rebuilt 4 speed manual transmission, new front end, and new rear brakes. While both hoods are smooth lined fiberglass pieces smoothly blended into the original metal body, the German fenders are pre 1967 and doors are stock German VW. For safety and security, it has a custom tonneau cover, plus a more decorative short tonneau cover. It has the look of a Hebmuller with the newer top revealing the classic Beetle split rear window. Interior was completely redone together the rebuilding of the bug about 7 years ago, including being completely stripped and painted. There are no signs of body rust. Its equipped with an AM/FM CD radio. Everything works. Needs nothing to put on the road today, except for a warm sun, shining down. It runs fantastic. It is literally a head turning blast to drive with its spunky responsiveness and its short throw shifter. I've loved and adored this chopped bug for easily 15 years. Now its your turn.
This vehicle has always been a West Coast car and is located in Poulsbo WA 98370 Please call Michael @ 360-779-6611 to see this Beetle, the Chopped Bug.
